Intellewave is a fully automated cardiac monitoring device that provides quantitative assessment of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis with clusterization of HF and LF components of Spectral function of HRV. The system is used by physician to objectively confirm or exclude a Cardiovascular Autonomic Neuropathy (CAN), a Diabetic Autonomic Neuropathy (DAN) and other dysautonomia problems. With information provided by Intellewave system physician is able to recognize Beta-Blockers overdosage and Risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Intellewave also provides a "real-time" - up to 24hr- quantitative assessment of Spectral function components of HRV.
NOTE: Any clinical correlation between HRV data analysis and blood pressure data can only be made by physician.
The system includes Electrocardiogram and Real-Time continious Blood Pressure measuring device. A variety of data collected during the test (HRV, blood pressure and Electrocardiogram readings) enables doctors to evaluate patient's Autonomic Nervous System activity/ status. The system is distinguished by its accuracy and speed, is highly reliable and easy to operate.
